Psychic Pain, Continued

From Nikola Tesla: “Psychic pain ids real, certainly: it is even part of what registers on the changes in the random-number generators: this reaction is not simply a conscious ‘flare’ of focused attention, it is also the shared psychic pain experiences. This psychic pain may lead to several reactions, though: one of them is most certainly compassion, if not only sympathy. However, such psychic pain might also drive those already over-sensitized to shut down even further so that they become anesthetized. The difficulty with this anesthesia is that, not only does it paradoxically allow even more psychic harm to be experienced by the originally traumatized person in the sense that trauma becomes normalized, the trauma increases its effects by sending out waves of psychic influence. These waves may alter a whole culture and sometimes with astonishing rapidity: there are examples of a psychically traumatized culture deteriorating within two generations. Indeed, some cultures were built upon psychic trauma, as evidenced by the Aztecs and other cultures centered around human sacrifice, brutal wars sweeping across nations again and again, or even cruelty to animals like bear baiting and bullfighting.

“The amount of psychic pain generated by culturally accepted wars, brutality, domestic abuse and abuses by those in power are added to the psychic pain of losing a loved one, having to make impossible choices that have been dictated by Draconian cultural dictates is staggering and, indeed, have made Humanity stagger from one trauma to another, from one egregious form of abuse to another with a seemingly intractable sense of inevitability to the point that this blind, chaotic state of perpetual psychic pain is simply called ‘human nature.’

“However, psychic pain can be healed instead of endured; it can be exalted instead of becoming a cultures center of gravity. Some of this healing is done, of course, by psychic beings: angels and discarnates, gods and goddesses, spirits of healing, compassion and wisdom. But when you take the task and the craft of your psychic healing into your own hands, you can change the world.”

Psychic Pain, Continued

From Nikola Tesla: “Some of you are distressed about yourselves because you feel you are ‘too sensitive:’ you cry at movies even though you know what the story is setting you up for an emotional reaction. You need so much time to recover from just watching the news that you hardly watch it at all, waiting to hear it from someone else or perhaps reading only the comics in the newspaper: they at least, seem to have some humor in them, if not true joy. But perhaps some of your friends scoff at you, saying you have no tolerance for “real reality:” you’re not tough enough to live the world or perhaps even that you’re not caring enough to make a real difference where it counts. You’re not out there in the fray; you’re not pulling yourself together enough to make a real difference: you’re too sensitive, too sentimental.

“In most cases, however, you are particularly sensitive to psychic pain. You may have been raised under brutal privation; you may have been raised by utterly negligent parents or you may have had some heavy, costly experience when young, before you had means and methods to cope with the deep levels of psychic shock. In these and other cases you are over-sensitized: your psychic perceptions were so overloaded that they remained in a hyper-excited state. They hyper-sensitivity can become balanced with care, work and healing, certainly. But there will always be a certain fragility or instability in your psychic body and its perceptions so that a tiny blow, one more tiny burden, can cause you to explode, implode or shatter.

“This fragility and tendency to over-react is not weakness. Rather, it is partly the result of the Frozen Time that Shock creates and partly the result of reaching into your own multidimensional being for the energy you need to overcome the abuse, bullying or harm, so that you have a chance of living with some sanity and balance. In short, you have opened up your psychic body to the higher-level ‘registers’ of multidimensionality too soon, before you had the spiritual grounding needed.”

Psychic Pain, Continued

From Nikola Tesla: “Your human psyche and thus the psychic abilities is a necessary part of your perception of your Reality, both personal and global. Your psychic body “sees” energy and that sight might lead to intuitive promptings: that this person coming towards you is an enemy or a friend, someone you can trust or someone you should avoid. Sometimes, in a crowd, you feel drawn to a particular person and later you find you have known each other in numerous past lives or that this person has the one piece of information you need to accomplish something important.

“This perception can also make you feel uncomfortable in certain stores, restaurants or other places of business, not only because, perhaps, the food is actually of very poor quality but also because this particular establishment might treat its workers unkindly on a regular basis, over-using them and extorting them into difficult positions. This particular establishment might appear to be “Earth Friendly’ or appear to welcome customers yet in truth one store might be run by a corporation that has no qualms about using literal slaves in far-away countries or the other store might only be interested in how much they might steal from you with hidden costs, unexpected fees and so on.

“Your psychic perception can save your life and at the same time it can open you up to all manner of pain: others’ losses, longings or perhaps their undigested angst. “Mass hysteria” is often a result of overwhelming psychic data that comes in too rapidly, forcefully or suddenly for you to process; on the obverse, blessing and good feeling held strongly enough can diffuse a mob. In many cases the psychic impact of all of these things create little pain, though sometimes either fear or relief. However, there are aspects of culture that cause chronic pain: a caste system’s automatic disenfranchisement of some into narrow, soul-deadening roles; a series of broken promises created by hypocrisy; demands that you conform to a rigid definition of who you are.”

Psychic Pain

From Nikola Tesla: “Psychic pain might seem to be an odd idea, perhaps as illusive, unexpected or inexplicable as the psychic function, if indeed the psychic ability exists in the first place. It does not help, either, that psychic pain often masts itself as something else: as depression, rage, frustration and perhaps even as a mild psychosis when such a mental malady is not present. You can feel psychic pain as a result of other people’s actions, yes, yet you more often feel psychic pain as a result of another  person’s energy and the disharmony between you, whether that disharmony is emotional, mental or psychic.

“Most people are entirely aware of how psychic they are, much less of their psychic impact: the amount of ‘space’ they take up in a room, the drain they may create upon other people’s optimism, patience, compassion or helpful attitudes. Too many are quite unconscious of this drain: they themselves have been told that the psychic does not exist. And so, as it is  with toxic magic, the unhealed, unbalanced or even predatory impulses in the sub- and unconscious minds operate freely, if quite blindly, because that person’s conscious mind refuses any data concerning those actions.

“The term, ‘psychic vampire’ is current in may New Age circles, and it is perhaps more accurate than you might think: like the true vampire bat, oftentimes the psychic vampire is starving for psychic ‘food’ that he or she cannot find any other way than to creep in slowly, make a tiny bite into your psychic awareness and/or abilities, add some sort of pain-killer much as the bat has in its saliva so that your psychic energy can be leached away, drop by drop.

“The causes of this kind of psychic hunger are legion: poor parenting, early family training, being predated upon by someone else or even a highly conflicted astrological chart, to say nothing of various past lives dragging on all the parts of that person that need to be solved in the here and now but cannot be.”
